[4.75/10] I discovered _Joe's Apartment_ just last week from a random social media post and decided to check it out via a streaming service from the library. The description promised some laughs, and it definitely delivered in some parts. It’s certainly a memorable film, but I wouldn’t call it rewatchable. In fact, for some people, it might not be watchable at all if cockroaches make them queasy. It’s a shame the story wasn’t more interesting. I thought the whole thing felt like something straight out of the minds of Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the creators of South Park). But then I learned that this film was the first ever MTV Films production, which made sense of everything, lol. If any of that intrigues you, go for it, but don’t expect to love it. I imagine some people really get a kick out of the movie though! Actually, I think my grandma could be one of those people, lol. But I am unlikely to find out because I'd probably only watch it again if someone begged me. That said, I bet it's way more fun to watch with a friend or anyone with a broad sense of humor!
