Same pattern, different chapter. The conversations are long, the pacing is slow, and if you've come this far you already know what you're signing up for. The redemption arc has potential on paper - watching Gabriel actually try to be better is more interesting than the previous instalments' cycle of tension and making up. Again the old formula, bring everybody back, have a point on which they can probably argue and all ye melodrama, it has its moments but they are very few. But it moves like it's in no hurry to get anywhere. Beautiful to look at, emotionally distant to feel.
