One of those movies that show best the hypocrisy and the real values behind religions, namely in this case, the Catholic Church. It is, in the end, not about faith and love but about money and power. Anyone who is in the way of those goals, believer or not, is just brutally eliminated. It is this core message that makes me give the movie 8 stars instead of 7. But beside that, the acting performances are also outstanding and the cinematography is just excellent. A movie to watch with attention and to discuss afterwards.
