A Christmas creature feature set during a blizzard. Lots of Christmas decorations and LED colors. I was expecting much lower quality filmmaking but this was actually decent; cool camerawork, some good dialogue, funny dark humor, the set does the job and good acting mostly from the mother and daughter—which I recognized from the *Snowpiercer* TV series, I guess she likes the cold. The movie needed a lot more of her, she disappears from time to time and that's when the movie drops in quality. Loved the snow tunnel scene even though that was poor decision making. The transformation scene and the 'electric' sequence in the third act was peak, great practical effects and creature design. I wasn't really on board with the twist at the end but it was redeemed with the final shot.

I think this may have been better had there been an actual monster in the movie.

A Creature Was Stirring (2023) - ❤5 I generally do enjoy watching B-movies and even some really bad movies - but sometimes a bad movie is just bad a bad movie. The ending made the entire movie very twisty but you didn't know it while you were watching it. Some might find it an interesting watch though. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
