A wonderful coda to the Babylon 5 saga. It gives us a chance to look across the history of the world J. Michael Straczynski created, allowed us to reunite with some old friends, and in the end even gave us a glimpse of hope for the future of Babylon 5. Very much worth waiting for.
Wow, I had forgotten just how much I loved Babylon 5! It was great to have the team back together. After seeing what had been done to Star Wars, Star Trek, and many others I was **_VERY_** worried this was going to be woke garbage, fortunately that was a dodged bullet. The only real negative was the drawing style for the animation, it's next to impossible to to tell who is who (with a couple of obvious exceptions like Londo and G'Kar) until their names are mentioned. I hear this is the first step to a new B5 series, as long as they keep to this standard, I'm all for it!
I am a fan of animation (and Babylon 5), but the style of this film leaves me a little cold. Somehow, the story also feels too contrived, and the ending more than a little unsatisfactory. There is, however, enough to keep you watching, but it feels much more of a coda than the start of a revival.
I had not been in Babylon 5 world for a long time, and this reminded me how great it was. Weird graphic design, there are some characters that are not even recognizable, but it's great that most of the original cast is there for voices. The story itself is not crazy good (and omg the cheesy conclusion...), but it's a good summary to just have a small view of all the characters we loved. Worth it if you loved the show, but I'm not sure any newcomer could find an interest in there.
Welcome back old friend. I'm busy (nearing the end of) watching a Babylon 5 marathon and this has made itself right at home. The story is good and leads a path to further B5 adventures The original cast were great as always and the newcomers fit it okay. My only issue was the remembrance for those cast members no longer alive was right at the very end of the credits. For me it should been right at the very beginning. Apart from that I really enjoyed it.
