If you've seen movies or TV series with this kind of plot, you've probably guessed some of the scenes in this one. The movie isn't bad; it's passable, but you could have made it more action-packed. I fast-forwarded through many of the scenes. The acting is passable, the script is classic, and the effects are also passable. If you like this kind of production, give it a try. My reason for not liking it was that it was boring. It's neither bad nor great, a solid 5 out of 10. Still, thanks for your efforts.

I hate it when movies pretend to be science fiction to attract viewers and then catfish us with some psychological drama bullshit. Xeno is exactly that type of a movie. There's an "Alien". So what? We never get to know where it came from what the backstory is. Instead, we get all the standard nonsense about an alcoholic white dude and how bad he is. I'm not white. However, if I (for whatever dumb reason) wanted to see the "white man bad" trope, there are plenty of Netflix produced garbage out there to satisfy the need. It's like Netflix's full-time job.

My son is 8. He loved the movie. KIDS are the target audience.
