I think the difficult part of making a movie like this is that there is a lot of information to disseminate about this man and his very important work. The movie dutifully shifted us from scene to scene. We would be given a taste of many different themes - his obssession with his work, his marriage and his struggle for it to evolve with his own evolution, his struggle not to become his father, and so much more. Neeson and Linney have never been better than they are in this film.
