Hachiko is such a beautiful true story, It's heart breaking and unforgettable! I must admit that I preferred the American version since this one felt slow and I didn't like the acting. I highly recommend watching Hachi: A Dog's Tale from 2009. It will make you cry for sure!

A retelling of the Hachiko story, this time by a Chinese crew. Loved the setting, and has more of a story to it than the US version, and still a tear-jerker. Ending is a bit lame though.

A rehash of the Japanese myth, in Chinese flavor. Interesting the contrast between what we would expect from a Japanese setting, and how a Chinese director imagines a similar story in his country, in a different society.
