[CPH:DOX '23] A story about the survival of the Boreal lynx through the point of view of Hannu Rantala, a charismatic and particular human being determined to preserve some of those who live in the forest where he lives. The figures of the lynxes recorded with night vision give them a certain ghostly tone, as if they were the last redoubts of an inevitable disappearance, while the reflection on the rocks of lynx projections provides a dreamlike sensation. Though it may remain a portrait of the eccentricity of a lone forest dweller, the film aptly reflects the fragility of life for the Lynx.
