My mom tells me I was watched this all the time when I was really little but seeing it as and adult I'm surprised I wasn't scared of this movie. It is really dark and the whole whale scene is scary. Little boys drinking and smoking and turning into donkeys is not ok. Still it's a really good movie and When you Wish Upon a Star is a great song.

Pinocchio is a nice story with some touching and disturbing moments. The bad boys on Pleasure Island being turned into donkeys for slave labor is the stuff children's nightmares are made of. I think the story is very slow during its first half and then never slows down in its second. There is a plethora of amazingly detailed animation throughout which makes Pinocchio a landmark film.

2/64 Pinocho 19/05/26 Muy buena película, 3 años después del gran éxito de Blancanieves salió está obra de arte que no decepciona en lo más mínimo, superando lo que fue Blancanieves, las canciones son buenísimas siendo un soundtrack muy completo, tanto así que estrella azul se convirtió en el himno de Disney, su Doblaje argentino de 1940 es muy bueno transmitiendo la esencia de Italia, se nota algo anticuado Pero eso no aurruina las increíbles Interpretaciones, una muy buena película demostrando el Pick de la era de oro de Disney.

Not only this is one of the greatest animated film but also one of the greatest films ever made that compete with non animated films. The water animation and stuff are really impressive for the 1940s and Coachman is one of the most vile Disney villains despite his short screen time. It may be short but hey its better than that one Disney Plus remake that should’ve never been made and wish to ignore.
