>Officer: *"Fuck it, let's bounce."* Tigger: *"That's my line."* Exactly the amount of camp and fun I was looking for in the first, this was much better. The bigger budget pays off especially for the effects, there's still some CGI but there's also a good amount of practical effects and the makeup and masks are more realistic. Some inventive enough gruesome gory kills, more one-liners (most are bad though), the acting is ok for a slasher and a ton of fun. This one spends a lot of time building up Christopher Robin and that's fine I guess but it really slowed down the movie in the second act. I do like the origin story for Pooh and friends told by that old man with one hell of a challenging accent (thank god for subtitles). The animated drawing segments are a nice addition, certainly fits because the original IP is animation. Whenever Pooh, Piglet, Owl and Tigger are on-screen is when the movie's at it's best and they should really stick with them at the forefront in the future. Owl is my favorite, really dig the look and the ability to fly. Tigger had a pretty badass entrance and his favorite word seems to be bitch. They forgot about Piglet in the third act, where the hell was he? The night club kill and Pooh with a fire chainsaw are my favorite moments. Keep making them this fun and i'll keep watching.
Why are they trying to make it bad? They thought about how to make a bad movie and made it for that purpose. The scenes are slow, I can't find anything to say about the acting. I waited this long for this movie to come out and I'm very disappointed. It's watchable but my suggestion to you is don't waste your time. Watch another movie. Anyway, thanks for your efforts anyway.
Absolutely still loving this series so far and this was no exception. Great entry in the universe and violence is up a notch. Pretty good plot and the acting is up from the last movie too. With that ending, I can only hope for an Eeyore return 🏼
Can't wait for the next installment in this cinematic universe.
Hated the first one, found myself laughing and enjoying some of the kills this go around.
