I really like this movie. Partly due to the excellent acting performances of the main cast, but also because of the nature of the story. I don’t know if this is intended, but the story reminds me very strongly of the novel “Homo Faber” by Max Frisch. Just like that character, Jay decelerates, slows down thoughout he movie. From jets to train to walking and from a huge entourage to beeing alone. That deceleration is where he can reflect on his life, his relationships and his friends and on who he is and wants to be. And he will find who his real friends are and whom he can really count on. Furthermore, he finally sees the many mistakes he made in his past, and that is the start of a healing process. An excellent movie for people that are a bit older but also a warning to younger persons who might be able to avoid making certain mistakes before the happen.

Very disappointing, gave it an hour.

This could be the perfect final film for Clooney. He could retire and this would be the best swan song for an actor since The Shootist. The final minutes are very touching. One of the last living movie stars.

**You're not alone. Thanks Ramon.** What a gorgeous, somber story of an actor's insecurities and struggle with identity and family. Clooney and Sandler are so good, felt very personal. I would've loved to see this in cinemas though. _Worth watching._

I feel like this is one giant actors circlejerk. I couldn’t get through it, especially in this day and age.
