This was absolutely horrific. The first 20 minutes lull you into a false sense of security, with Little Dixie giving off the air of a competent war-on-the-Cartels picture. Sicario this is not, but it feels decent in the opening act. Then everything falls apart so quickly, and into such C-movie tier quality, it's almost impossible to see how the first section connects to the rest. Wish.com John Wick with student project production values, capped off with Frank Grillo monologuing to a decapitated head, and a Cartel boss confessing his Mommy issues to a drag queen. Not even funny bad, just completely tone deaf and insufferable. Please don't waste your time.
