It's embarrassing to admit I like a Brett Ratner film, but this is entertaining and fluffy with all the actors clearly having fun. This light-hearted caper always puts me in a good mood.
I've never hidden the fact that I enjoy a beautiful female on screen. Well...in this one, you get Salma Hayek in spades. It doesn't hurt that the movie is actually kind of fun as well. I really like heist movies, and this one fits the bill. Harrelson and Brosnan make a funny "Cops and Robbers" pair with a dynamic I quite liked. The story is not the greatest, but it has its twists and turns, and the ending is surprisingly satisfying. If you are a fan of heist movies (and Salma Hayek), this one should be to your liking.
There was only one reason this movie was made: to see Salma Hayek before she porked out (wow). And that's the only reason anyone would want to watch this piece of crap. Imagine every movie you've ever watched where the bad guys go for one more last score and everything is right here in this movie. NOTHING original and not even the slightest bit funny - they should have put subtitles (laugh here) where they obviously meant it to be funny. Groan more like it. All three of the main characters obviously did this for the money - it certainly wasn't for stretching their acting or skill level. I'd give this a 0/10, but Salma in a bathing suit is worth 3 points right there!!
Loved this heist movie with Pierce Brosnan and Salma Hayek Who are a couple who and thieves. It is fun and lighthearted and actually a really good heist movie. Woody plays the detective is is always so close to catching them. A great watch.
It lacked any depth to be suitable as a crime drama - to be suitable as a comedy, the time between the gags was far too lengthy.
