Excellent movie, depicting all that went around development of Indian vaccine and lobbying by big Pharma interests.

It wants to be a hard-hitting tribute, but it’s shaped more like a loud lecture than a layered film. Vivek Agnihotri packs it with patriotic urgency and big statements, but the storytelling leans too aggressively into one-note messaging to let the science or the human drama breathe. The performances do the heavy lifting: Nana Patekar is sharp, steady and commanding, Pallavi Joshi brings conviction, and Raima Sen adds some grounding. The intent is admirable, the theme is important, but the execution feels simplified and dramatized instead of truly insightful. Earnest, occasionally gripping, but more declarative than cinematic.
