While the movie begins OK, it deteriorates into a mindless orgy of violence. While it can be argued that depicting the gangsters as murderous lunatics without any decency, which makes them laughable at some times and implausible at others, is intentional, portraying the police men as stupid as rocks is ruining the whole "gangsters vs police" theme that Doberman follows.
