It was a pleasant watch, although my expectations were high. Nam Joo Hyun and Cho Seung Woo definitely stole the show for me, both taking challenges of doing new characters that they had never played before. The story was strong but the screenplay was weak. The drama couldn't hold the tense horror atmosphere throughout, after sometime it felt like they were dragging the storyline. The same plot could have been made into a great film or 6 episode drama. The chemistry between ML and FL was interesting, the unique bonding between them added a complex dynamic to the storyline. Even though I couldn't feel any spark between them. The main MVP was definitely gggomeokali for me. I went in to watch a horror drama, instead fell in love with a cute spirit. As a horror fan, I can't say that I am fully satisfied, but it was fun watch for me.

First impressions of The East Palace (Episodes 1–3): The production stands out for its ambitious visual craftsmanship and its well-crafted, suspenseful atmosphere. Conceptually, the structure and tone of the plot draw very interesting parallels with Constantine, adapting that classic paranormal quest to Korean culture and idiosyncrasies. A supernatural intrigue drama that, if it maintains this pace, promises to be one of the highlights of the season.

Okay! I have absolutely no idea, if it's just Me or after watching way too many Horror, i no longer feel scared but.. I Stayed and that's something matters the most. Yes! I did gave Stranger Things vibe but i was facing difficulty understanding different spirits and their reason to hold grudges and take a certain form depending on their grudge. They all sounded the same and looked the same to me with one specific exception which actually caught my eyes.. IT'S THE DEITY. The Deity Spirit was portrayed so well, just like paintings from Old Religious Paintings. Everything Else Looked the same, i couldn't find the difference between Pond Spirit and The Crown Prince but the PLOT was INTERESTING, very interesting. With Gu-cheon surviving, Chain still being stuck in his hand, ggeomeoksali still attached to Gu-cheon, the mystery of Gu-cheon's mother's death still unresolved, etc. With that Open ending even though it feels like the story is going to stretch to another SEASON, I am fine if it doesn't.. My Favourite Part was the Portrayal of Gu-cheon. Even though in Real World he was a tired, sickly, unconcerned, weak, average person. But in the Spirit World, Gu-cheon was a Rough Warrior fighting his way for survival. How they explained everything based on "spirits" as people used to do in older days but in reality portraying everything as mental health issues, the stress of Royal Court, pressure to prove, burdens and responsibilities to move forward but remember and respect those who perished...Woah! That was INCREDIBLE!! 👏 BEAUTIFUL!

The show is so good actually, it kinda reminds me of Fatal Frame game.

Only watched the first episode for now and it was petty good. Very excited to keep watching
