Not bad television by any means, but after the first two seasons, this season just felt really bland. I get they tried to mix things up by bringing Warwick in, and at first, I kinda liked the dynamic between him and Karl, but after the first episode, it became clear that the show had run its course. It had started to double-dip in areas it had already visited, and it made for less engaging viewing.
An idiot abroad was a fantastic show, unfortunately let down by its third and final season. What made the show so popular was the laid back, cant be bothered attitude of Karl when visiting some of the greatest locations around the world. Warwick did not have this attitude and it opposed everything that was funny about the show. A disappointing end to a fantastic programme. Luckily Karl kept the show entertaining enough to continue watching.
