Funny, fun and full of heart, Suave Says will follow famous Latin lover turned preacher, Gerardo Mejia, as he fights to keep his family together the only way he knows how; with laughter and love.

Gerardo's three kids are completely out of touch with their Ecuadorian heritage, so he forces them to learn some Spanish. Unfortunately, the kids are led astray with some naughty phrases by their grandmother. Meanwhile, after living in America for 40 years, Kathy has convinced her husband Gerardo to finally become a US citizen. With the help of a study session with the whole family, he is ready for the test.

Now that the family is all back under one roof, there seem to be some growing pains as they get reacquainted with one another. Nadia is desperately trying to spend some catch-up time with her sister, but Bianca's boyfriend Zac seems to continuously come between them. Meanwhile, Gerardo is desperate to reconnect with his 13-year-old son Jaden. Unfortunately for him, Jaden wants nothing to do with his parents right now.

Love is a battlefield in the Mejia household. Bianca has her first fight with her boyfriend Zac. After 20 years of marriage, Kathy is worried her hubby Gerardo barely notices her anymore. As the extended family gathers for the celebration, Gerardo takes the opportunity to put Zac to the test and see if he's worthy of his daughter Bianca. But as the day of the renewal ceremony approaches, Kathy is starting to question her own motives for getting remarried - and it may not be good news for Gerardo.
