Journalist Marcel Theroux explores the dark world of the Eunuch Maker, who was accused of leading a group of men that were performing castrations and live streaming them to paying customers online. With unprecedented access to those who underwent castration, and those in the inner circle, Theroux discovers a story about sex, gender, manipulation, personal freedom and the limits of consent.
Episode 1
In February 2022 in north London, a group of men were arrested and charged for castrating and mutilating other men. Their leader was a Norwegian national, Marius Gustavson, who called himself the Eunuch Maker.
Episode 2
As Marius Gustavson and his co-offenders receive lengthy sentences, Marcel Theroux meets the survivor who initiated the investigation and others who reveal the scale of the crimes and question the motivations behind them.
