The rookies are temporarily paired with new training officers, and Nolan is paired with Lopez. When Nolan and Lopez track down an escaped criminal, they discover a little kindness goes a long way. Was rooting for them to stay together. Five was my favorite character in Dark Matter and I like her here too. As for Nathan FIllion, he shows more gravity than I expected. He was 3-dimensional in Castle, don't get me wrong, but he's more serious here. Just because dude drove a car into the suspect doesn't mean he won't still freeze during gunfire.

This episode was wonderful. We were able to access more of the personal side of the characters.
Talia was a little bit of a bitch in this episode. I'm also a bit disappointed that [spoiler] John ended it with Lucy [/spoiler] just like that. So much for [spoiler] loving her, [/spoiler] I guess.
Sometimes, a change of people moves things forward
