Was looking forward to seeing this movie. I was very intrigued to learn about this solider and what he went through to be rescued. Unfortunately the film didn’t do a great job in presenting it. The story that was to be told had great potential but the script failed it. Acting wasn’t to much better at all but that might be attributed to the weak writing and what they had to work with. I am a big fan of history and war movies. This one watch at home not worth seeing it in the theater.

After watching Rod Lurie’s previous war movie I was ready for this one. I think he’s a very good director. This is more of a survival type of war movie. It focuses on one character played by Scott Eastwood for the entirety of the movie. I thought the cinematography looked really good. I liked the story a lot. I’ve always been a huge fan of war movies all my life. This had some good military action scenes but was more about the survival aspect. I thought the pacing was really good and consistent throughout. I loved the way they decided to wrap things up here. It’s a good war movie that will definitely fly way under the radar. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel but it does a serviceable job. * Double Feature at AMC Crestwood 18

This was a painful watch. Script was very poor and some of the events didn't make sense. I love WW2 movies but I don't recommend this if you have other movies on your watchlist.
