Alice plans a surprise party for Ralph; an old love letter falls into the wrong hands.

The June Taylor Dancers start things off by dancing to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"; Sid Caesar starts off as a saxophonist who has sworn off the instrument in favor of philosophizing, later pantomimes a piano concerto, then he and Imogene Coca perform a routine about a shy couple at a first dance and, for the ending, perform in an Italian film parody, "Who Robbed the Bicycle?"; plus, Mike Douglas performs "The Windmills of Your Mind" and duets with Jackie on a rewritten version of "It's a Great Day for the Irish"; and Bob Newhart regales a routine about married couples.

For the opener, Tiny Tim bestows hippie regalia upon Jackie, and later performs "Tiptoe Thru' the Tulips With Me" and "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight"; Edgar Bergen gives a history lesson to Charlie McCarthy, then they have it out with Jackie; Shelley Berman explains the auditorium's ventilation system to Jackie, and then does a monologue about a "brave man" in war on the wireless with his commander.

Guest Red Buttons complains to Jackie that he's never had a "Man of the Year" plaque, and gives historic examples of others who never received such plaques; Frankie Avalon performs "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"; Jackie and Phil Silvers do dueling dances, then Phil recounts singers he's known and imitates Ezio Pinza; and a "Honeymooners" remake of "Six Months to Live", where Ralph thinks he's dying of a disease that's actually afflicting Alice's mother's collie.

Guest Red Buttons starts off unloading on Jackie about the type of jokes he's not allowed to do on the show, and later does a satire of programming on Israeli television; Florence Henderson sings "My Love"; Morey Amsterdam teaches Jackie how to play the cello, then does a comedy routine; and for the close, a "Honeymooners" sketch, "Alice's Birthday", where Alice is determined to receive a birthday gift from a chronically forgetful Ralph even if it means buying it herself.

Guest Red Buttons sings "My Pal Jackie" and reminisces about their recent trip to the beach; Nipsey Russell performs a comedy routine after regaling about diets and women's fashions with Jackie; Jan Murray gives Jackie some golfing tips, with Greta von Hagge as the caddy; and a "Honeymooners" sketch, "Lawsuit", where Ralph intends to sue his employer, the Gotham Bus Company, for $75,000 after suffering a broken leg in a work-related accident.

Guests are Milton Berle, Gene Kelly and Corbett Monica. Highlights include Jackie and Milton going over the latest in fashions; Gene performs "Shall We Dance?" with The June Taylor Dances; and Gleason, Berle and Kelly do a medley reflecting on their showbiz careers.

Guest Milton Berle offers Jackie unsolicited dieting tips; Tony Bennett performs "The Trolley Song" and "(I Left My Heart) In San Francisco"; Nipsey Russell does a "That's Good, That's Bad" routine with Jackie and ruminates on the current scene; Jackie Vernon does a monologue about the town of Ferguson, Ohio; and for the finish, Milton and Jackie perform a musical tribute to radio shows and commercials of the past.

Highlights of this show include: Sid Caesar giving shopping tips to Jackie; Myron Cohen does a routine about senior citizens; Timmie Rogers teachers Jackie how to be a "soul man", and performs a routine about Miami Beach hotels and other subjects; George Jessel tells a story about the Holy Land in ancient times; and a sketch with Sid as an impatient waiter at Casa del Que Dulce Es', made by his boss to wait while customers are locked in an eternal kiss.

Guest Tiny Tim regales himself with Jackie at the open, and later performs "Secret Agent Man"; Slappy White does a routine; Wally Cox speaks of different birds with Jackie, and performs "What a Crazy Guy (Dufo)"; and in "The Honeymooners" Ralph gets his thumb stuck in a bowling ball he had just bought.

Guest Jack Benny regales about a luncheon he had with Jackie; Robert Goulet performs "Those Were the Days"; Alan King does a routine about his doctor brother and their family; Jack speaks of performing on TV shows with his violin, and of orchestra leaders on TV and radio he's known, then performs a medley of songs on the violin including "Sweet Georgia Brown" and "Puttin' on the Ritz"; and for the close, Jackie and his guests and the June Taylor Dancers show up at Jack Haley's residence.

Guest Orson Bean teaches Jackie how to make a paper eucalyptus tree; Ray Milland comes out to help Jackie introduce Frank Sinatra Jr., who performs "Consider Yourself" and then duets with Jackie on "How Ya Gonna Keep 'Em Down on the Farm?"; Victor Borge does a monologue about a performance of a Mozart opera; Sonny Sands regales the audience with tales of his nature and life in general; and in "The Honeymooners", Norton and Trixie move in with the Kramdens while their apartment is being painted because Ed can't stand the smell of paint.

For the open, Groucho Marx has a few words with Jackie about the dressing room facilities and romance, performs "I Wanna Be Loved By You," and for the close does a monologue about "healthier" lifestyles; Jane Morgan performs "Congratulations, I Guess"; Mickey Rooney dispels myths about his present financial condition and proposes what next film he and Jackie would do together, and then performs a routine with Sid Gould; and Charlie Manna ruminates on life and the world around him.

Guest George Burns has Jackie do things to make him laugh, and later regales a tale about Harry Houdini; Georgie Kaye and Marsh and Adams perform comedy routines; and a "Honeymooners" installment, "The New Manager", where Ralph thinks he's been promoted to manager of the Gotham Bus Company when, in fact, he was named manager of their baseball team.
