They're back. The Connors continue the fight against Skynet into a second season of _Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles_. With the help of a future resistance fighter the Connors are given a list of names of people and places that are potential Skynet targets; meanwhile a T-1000 impersonates a tech company CEO and works on developing an A.I. Dealing with time travel, alternative reality, and spirituality, the show presents some very interesting ideas and concepts. Additionally, the main cast delivers some impressive performances (particularly Summer Glau and Brian Austin Green). However, a little after midseason the show goes to sh** with a 5 to 6 episode arc that kills the momentum of the series and sends it off on a bizarre tangent with aliens and government conspiracies (and was likely the cause of the show's cancellation). Still, the season finishes strong with a finale that opens up a number of fascinating possibilities of where the series could go. Season 2 of _Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles_ is a bit uneven and makes some terrible missteps, but it can also be quite powerful and compelling at times.
