Well done Korea and DIsney+ After MOVING another fine example of Korean TV. Fantastic action paced with great fights and an excellent music score. Enjoyed how they layout the episodes, how you didn't understood anything from the first ones but then had all the "another point of view" ones and you got the whole picture. Of course i would love a second season of that quality

A Shop for Killers hits you fast with high-octane action, and the story hooks you immediately with a really likeable main character. Her backstory is incredibly tragic, and the emotional core of her growing up under a cold, distant guardian is handled surprisingly well. I actually cried early in the season, and I have only done that for one other show. The action choreography is a major highlight, delivering some incredibly cool, fast-paced combat sequences that keep the energy high, especially when a certain character or two are the ones fighting. The show does have some glaring structural flaws. It relies way too much on flashbacks, with almost every episode halting the present-day momentum to explain a character's history. This pacing choice heavily disrupts the flow of the overarching narrative. The editing also gets repetitive, replaying entire minutes-long scenes from previous episodes as if the audience was not capable of remembering what happened. On top of that, the villains lack clear depth for far too long, and some action scenes require a massive suspension of disbelief regarding what a human can actually survive. Despite that, the mistakes do not take away from how entertaining the journey is. The finale drops a massive, game-changing twist that completely shifts the direction of the story moving forward. It might be recency bias talking, but even with its flawed storytelling habits, the sheer entertainment value keeps this at a very happy 8/10.
